Ifunds Group B.V., based in Nieuwegein and founded in 1994, grew through the 2016 acquisition of Cherry-T and a 2024 consolidation with V-Zes Software/Fondsenware.
Functionality
Ifunds Grant Management is the funder-side product for vermogensfondsen (asset-holding foundations) and grant/subsidy-giving bodies, covering the full grant lifecycle from application to payment. It’s structured around three separate portals (applicant, back-office, and a committee meeting portal) with checklist-driven assessment and task-driven workflows. Configuration happens through portal setup rather than custom development, and product development follows customer user stories via a weekly meeting, feeding two major releases per year. It’s hosted within the customer’s own Microsoft 365 environment, with SharePoint, Outlook and Power BI integration.
Localised features
Built for Dutch asset-holding foundations, vermogensfondsen, and grant-making bodies, subsidieverstrekkers, such as Fonds Sluyterman van Loo. Compliance relies on Microsoft’s general platform certifications.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by Ifunds’ own team, without an independent partner network, with several onboarding projects run in parallel.
Hosting
Runs inside your organization’s own third-party platform tenancy: Customer’s Microsoft 365/Dynamics 365 environment; inherits Microsoft’s own security/compliance baseline.
