Kerv Digital – Social Enterprise Accelerator Suite

Organisation & background

This is the Microsoft-aligned digital transformation practice of Kerv Group, a UK company backed by private equity firm Bridgepoint. Its Dynamics capability expanded substantially through the 2024 acquisition of Inciper, which brought a large team of practitioners.

Functionality

Kerv Digital – Social Enterprise Accelerator Suite is a set of three Dynamics 365 accelerators from Kerv Digital for nonprofits, membership bodies and higher education, built on Microsoft’s Nonprofit Accelerator and common data model rather than sold as a standalone product. Stay-Funded automates Direct Debit and recurring income, Stay-Gifted automates Gift Aid, and Stay-Engaged adds a general engagement layer that Kerv describes as including AI-driven insights. Stay-Funded and Stay-Gifted are listed on Microsoft AppSource.

Localised features

Stay-Gifted is explicitly a UK-specific Gift Aid automation accelerator, compliant with rules from HMRC, the UK’s tax authority, and geography-bound to UK-registered charities, unlike the other two accelerators in the suite.

Implementation model

Delivered directly by Kerv, which is itself the implementation layer, using a configuration-first approach. The accelerators are provided under a royalty-free licence as part of a wider transformation engagement, which Kerv says avoids vendor lock-in.

Hosting

Runs inside your organization’s own third-party platform tenancy: Customer’s separately-licensed Dynamics 365/Azure tenancy; hosting/security posture inherits from that tenancy.
