SinergiaCRM

Organisation & background

SinergiaCRM is built and maintained by SinergiaTIC, a Spanish nonprofit association, on a SuiteCRM open-source core. It’s architecturally distinct from CiviCRM, even though both serve the Spanish nonprofit sector.

Functionality

SinergiaCRM is an open-source CRM for Spanish nonprofits (ONG), adapted from SuiteCRM by the nonprofit association SinergiaTIC. Its core modules cover people, organisations and lighter ‘interested party’ records, with a separate relationships layer so one person can hold several roles, such as donor and volunteer, each lapsing independently. Payment commitments generate one-off or recurring payments and direct-debit batches, projects track participants and funding, and campaigns work from target-audience lists. Activities, calendars and email templates support daily work, and administrators can add new modules with Module Builder. Companion products add SinergiaDA analytics and a WordPress-based private area for members.

Localised features

A formal, published GDPR data-processing agreement governs the SinergiaTIC/organisation relationship, with an explicit data-ownership and code-access commitment if the contract ends. Work is under way toward Spain’s VeriFactu system, a new mandatory e-invoicing verification requirement, visible on SinergiaTIC’s GitHub.

Implementation model

Provided as a full service through membership of SinergiaTIC, including an onboarding session and go-live support. SinergiaTIC commits to hand over a full copy of the application and data if a customer leaves.

Hosting

Hosted by SinergiaTIC by default, with data in Spain, or self-hosted or hosted by a third party.
