Organisation & background
Lumary was founded by Joseph Mercorella and Matthew English, who were previously contractors with the South Australian government when the NDIS came into effect in 2013; the product launched around 2017. It is an Australian company building care-management software on Salesforce for NDIS disability services, aged care and allied-health providers, with customers in Australia and the United States, aimed at organisations managing 50 or more participants or complex rostering and billing.
Functionality
Lumary is care-management software for Australian organisations delivering NDIS, aged-care and allied-health services, built as a managed package on Salesforce. It tracks each participant’s goals, case notes and files alongside real-time scheduling. For rostering it interprets the SCHADS award automatically and integrates with payroll, and for funding it handles NDIS bulk claiming against the price guide, CSV extracts for the myplace provider portal, and PACE and PRODA submissions. Compliance and financial reporting, outcomes tracking, AI tools and a participant community portal are also included.
Localised features
Australia-specific features include NDIS claims automation against the NDIS price guide, the national disability-insurance pricing schedule, support for the PACE and PRODA systems used in that scheme, and SCHADS award interpretation for applying Australia’s community-services industrial award.
Implementation model
A substantial implementation process, not self-service. Typically 3 to 6 months for complex organizations, and requires internal technical champions on the customer’s side.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor, built on Salesforce and using Salesforce’s Hyperforce hosting infrastructure. Lumary’s specific data-residency configuration within that platform is tracked separately.
