Leap Patron Management

Organisation & background

Leap Patron Management was founded in 2001 as Patron Technology by Eugene Carr and Ross Kudwitt, and renamed Leap Event Technology in 2023. PatronManager was sold in 2026 to Ticketure, backed by Dahlia Equity Partners.

Functionality

Leap Patron Management, formerly PatronManager, is a CRM for arts and cultural organisations, built as a managed application inside Salesforce. It combines box-office ticketing, season subscriptions, fundraising and donor management, email marketing and reporting in one Salesforce org, so ticket buyers and donors share the same contact and account records. Administrators use native Salesforce tools, including custom fields and objects, reports, permission sets and the AppExchange catalogue of add-on apps.

Localised features

Inherits whatever compliance posture the customer’s underlying Salesforce setup provides, including its NPSP configuration, a widely used nonprofit add-on package for Salesforce.

Implementation model

Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team. A dedicated technical team migrates historical data and tailors the application. Organisations with in-house Salesforce administration capability can self-manage more of their own configuration after the initial implementation.

Hosting

Runs inside your organization’s own third-party platform tenancy.
