CiviCRM is an international open-source project, licensed under AGPLv3 and stewarded by CiviCRM LLC. civiservice.de is a small German full-service CiviCRM agency with an NGO background.
Functionality
CiviCRM via civiservice.de is CiviCRM, the free open-source CRM for nonprofits, offered in Germany by civiservice.de with hosting and full-service implementation. CiviCRM runs inside a website content-management system, and its components can be switched on as needed, including CiviContribute for donations, CiviMember, CiviEvent, CiviMail, CiviCase, CiviCampaign and CiviGrant. civiservice.de also contributes to CiviCRM’s own development.
Localised features
Localisation runs through general CiviCRM features and German-hosted infrastructure, rather than a distinct feature set specific to civiservice.de.
Implementation model
You can self-host it yourself, or use a civiservice.de-led implementation. It’s freely self-hostable in principle. civiservice.de provides a full-service implementation and hosting route instead, as an alternative to Systopia’s more extension-development-led offering.
Hosting
You can choose: self-hosted, or a specialist hosting/SaaS partner. Civiservice.de states hosting in a certified German data centre.
