Organisation & background
iXiam Global Solutions, based in Barcelona, has held Gold-level CiviCRM partner status since 2013. CiviCRM itself is a mature, internationally developed open-source project, and iXiam is its Spanish implementation partner (offering SaaS hosting through its Civi-Go service).
Functionality
CiviCRM via iXiam Global Solutions is CiviCRM, the open-source nonprofit CRM, configured and extended by iXiam for Spanish organisations (ONG). It covers donor and constituent management, mass communications, reporting, event management with QR check-in, and data migration. iXiam adds integrations for Spanish needs, including the Redsys payment gateway, automated Modelo 182 donation reporting, SEPA direct debits and a WhatsApp extension. Customisation is done through configuration and custom extensions built by developers.
Localised features
A CiviCRM–Redsys payment-gateway integration developed with Amnesty International Spain, released as a public community extension. A community-maintained Modelo 182 extension supports Spain’s annual donation-reporting form. SEPA, the European standard for direct debits and bank transfers, direct debit is in production use, alongside a dedicated WhatsApp integration.
Implementation model
Delivered by an implementation partner. IXiam builds the data model, configuration, extensions, migration and training for each client; its Civi-Go SaaS product provisions within 72 business hours.
Hosting
Self-hosted, or hosted in the EU, in the Netherlands and France, through iXiam’s Civi-Go service.
