Organisation & background
GRÜN Software Group GmbH, based in Aachen, Germany, has been an SAP Silver Partner since 2018 and holds SAP NetWeaver integration certification. It manages a very large volume of person records across roughly 30 European installations.
Functionality
GRÜN MFplus adds SAP-native business logic and data structures for membership and donation organisations (Verein) already running SAP ERP. For members it covers rule-based dues pricing, SEPA collection and bank reconciliation, and committee and role modelling; for donations it covers occasion and collective gifts, court-fine donations, legacies and dynamic campaign selections. Everything posts directly into the customer’s own SAP financial accounting as a sub-ledger, keeping everything in one system rather than needing a separate reconciliation step, and data protection and consent handling are built in. It runs on SAP ECC and, since a 2021 release, on SAP S/4HANA on-premises.
Localised features
Handles two specific German donation types: Bußgeld, court-ordered fine donations, and Nachlass, legacy or bequest donations. GDPR consent management, or DSGVO, was added via a 2018 support package. Deployment depends on the customer already running SAP’s ERP system, either the older ECC edition or S/4HANA since 2021.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor. GRÜN’s own workshop-led, Pflichtenheft-driven process, with no separate implementation-partner network (unlike its sibling product VEWA, which has a Swiss/Austrian RIB Cosinus channel).
Hosting
Runs inside your organization’s own third-party platform tenancy: Deployed inside the customer’s existing SAP landscape; standalone hosting claims don’t apply.
