Sistemi S.p.A., headquartered in Turin, is a software house for chartered accountants and vertical business sectors, serving a very large number of Italian micro-businesses and professionals via a network of partner firms. PROFIS Gestione ETS is one of several named vertical modules within its PROFIS accounting suite, alongside modules for leasing assets, budget/business planning, and litigation-crisis management, among others.
Functionality
PROFIS Gestione ETS is a tax and accounting-compliance module for Italian chartered accountants who serve third-sector organisations, part of Sistemi’s wider PROFIS suite for accountants. It provides a third-sector chart of accounts under ordinary, simplified and flat-rate regimes, runs an automatic check classifying each activity as commercial or non-commercial for tax purposes, and guides preparation of the statutory financial statements filed with RUNTS, with VAT and income-tax returns compiled automatically. It is used by the accountant rather than the nonprofit, and does not cover donors, members or fundraising.
Localised features
Built entirely around RUNTS, Italy’s national nonprofit register, statutory financial-statement deposit and Italian VAT/income-tax filing requirements. A companion PROFIS AZ environment adds e-invoicing and administrative management shared between the accounting firm and client.
