Organisation & background
Lamplight Database Systems Ltd, based in London, was established in 2004. It has a substantial UK customer base, and has been the preferred CRM for Lloyds Bank Foundation’s grant programme since 2016.
Functionality
Lamplight is a case management and outcomes-tracking system for UK charities of all sizes. Each person has a profile with unlimited custom tabs and fields, Linked Fields record simple repeating data, and outcomes use a two-level structure of categories and indicators. The base system includes unlimited users and full administrator control. Add-on modules cover evaluations with document upload, multiple waiting lists, a two-way website link for publishing events and directories and taking bookings, self-referrals and QR check-in, matching people to opportunities, automations and Power BI reporting.
Localised features
Restricted Processing implements UK GDPR Article 18 data-subject rights directly. Supports standard UK/international outcome instruments, Core 10, PHQ6, GAD7, WEMWBS, alongside licensed Outcome Stars, and a Lloyds Bank Foundation grant partnership funds a first year of the system for supported charities.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team, through a named ‘Lamplight Implementer’ role. A lighter Express-setup option is available for small charities. After setup, day-to-day admin becomes self-service.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor.
