Organisation & background
GRÜN IMB is a GRÜN Software Group product, based in Aachen, Germany and Vienna, Austria, positioned for small-to-medium donation organisations alongside the group’s larger sibling product, VEWA. The group has over 30 years of history and a large number of installations group-wide.
Functionality
GRÜN IMB is a web-based donation-management system for small and medium fundraising organisations, positioned by GRÜN as the smaller counterpart to its VEWA family. It focuses on automated, targeted campaign management and a full view of donor communications. It can be run by the organisation itself or as an outsourced service, where GRÜN can also take on address capture, returns handling and direct-debit collection. An entry edition, LASSIE, aimed at German associations and foundations, covers donation posting, receipts, mailings and multi-channel campaigns.
Localised features
SEPA, the European standard for direct debits and bank transfers, direct-debit collection, a DATEV, a German accounting-data-exchange standard, financial-accounting interface, and a personal donor download area for receipts, ‘Quittungen.’ Also offered as a fully outsourced SaaS service via GRÜN Fundraising Services, which can handle address capture, direct-debit collection, and donation posting on the customer’s behalf.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team: Combined software-plus-outsourcing delivery; individually selectable bundled operational services and per-project agency partnerships.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor.
