Organisation & background
Donorfy was founded in 2014, SaaS-first from the start, and was acquired by Access Group in 2024 into its Charity Suite. It’s active across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.
Functionality
Donorfy is a fundraising CRM for UK charities covering individual giving, campaigns and events, and major-donor and legacy pipelines. Each constituent has a profile and a single timeline of everything linked to them, extended with activity types, tags and custom fields. Campaigns group fundraising and communications, with events run as a campaign type, and trusts, major gifts and legacies are tracked through an Opportunities pipeline. Online forms, web widgets and supporter self-service capture data directly, Triggers automate actions, and an OData feed serves BI tools. Integrations include Stripe, GoCardless, JustGiving, Eventbrite, Mailchimp and Xero.
Localised features
Submission to HMRC’s Charities Online service, the UK’s tax authority, and GASDS, the Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme, JustGiving/Enthuse peer-to-peer integrations, plus a Denmark-specific payment/membership integration and Danish tax-file export. The only non-UK national integration in this profile.
Implementation model
Self-service or through a small group of certified partners, Corsan Consulting, Daniel Raphael, Dot To Dot, Core Insights and Mast, alongside Access’s own delivery team.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor, with an Azure option in the customer’s own tenancy for larger organisations.
