Organisation & background
thankQ Solutions Pty Ltd, based in Sydney, has operated since 2003 separately from the UK thankQ business that became Access Charity CRM; the thankQ lineage dates from 1992 in the UK. It serves charities in medical research, aged care, education, animal welfare, religion, the environment and human rights, including Wesley Mission and Brotherhood of St Laurence.
Functionality
thankQ (Australia/Asia-Pacific) is a single unified contact/relationship model spanning donors, members and volunteers, aimed at charities that want one system rather than separate databases for each function. It offers one-off and recurring gift processing with in-call detail updates during telefundraising, grant-prospect tracking, and tiered, gift and honorary/lifetime membership types with tier-aware automated renewal reminders. An events module and a volunteer module tracking skills, check status, qualifications and availability are included, alongside a controlled, multi-step mailing and de-duplication pipeline for communications.
Localised features
Donation and pledge entry offers an automatic receipt, and the system tracks when each regular donor’s periodic thank-you letter is due. Direct debits and standing orders can be loaded and linked to bank software, generating an EFTPOS file for claiming periodic payments.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor, consultancy-led: A single vendor-delivered offering bundling implementation, hosting choice and ongoing support; a structured, named-trainer-led paid training programme.
Hosting
You can choose: vendor-hosted (SaaS) or self-hosted. Data centre, on-premise, or the vendor’s own thankQ Cloud, per a government-procurement supplier listing.
