Country: Singapore

Singapore’s charity sector combines close government oversight with freedom for organisations to choose their own systems. Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status, held by a minority of registered charities, lets an organisation issue tax-deductible receipts at the country’s more generous deduction rate.

The one domestic product identified generates the corresponding tax-authority submission file directly, pre-compiles the annual return the charity regulator requires, integrates with PayNow and GIRO for payment, and builds in the consent-capture, access-request and audit-logging features required under the country’s data-protection law, paired with in-region hosting.
