Organisation & background
ENTERBRAIN Software GmbH, based in Offenbach am Main, Germany, traces to a 1991 predecessor company, with the current Enterbrain 2.0 generation launched in 2014.
Functionality
ENTERBRAIN 2.0 is a broad fundraising, membership and events CRM built from around twenty named modules covering member and dues billing, donor and legacy-gift tracking, and donation receipting. Its most distinctive area is Geldauflagen: a detailed module for managing an organisation’s relationship with courts as a recipient of court-ordered charitable fines, tracking the court, judge, probation officer and payment status per case in its own dedicated file. ENTERBRAIN’s donor, fine and membership accounting is independently re-audited every year against German bookkeeping standards, and the vendor will also run an organisation’s donor administration entirely on its behalf as an outsourced service.
Localised features
Generates statutory donation receipts, Zuwendungsbescheinigungen, with an independent annual audit of donor, fine and membership accounting against German proper-accounting principles. Handles court-fine donations across Germany’s Oberlandesgericht, Landgericht and Amtsgericht courts.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by ENTERBRAIN’s own Customer Solutions team.
Hosting
You can choose: vendor-hosted (SaaS) or self-hosted. Purchase outright or rent via a hosted German data centre.
