Organisation & background
combit GmbH, based in Konstanz, Germany, is owner-led, founded in the late 1980s with no US or external investor involvement. combit CRM, built on the reporting engine underlying List & Label, launched in 2004 and is explicitly marketed at clubs, federations, foundations, NGOs and academies as a core segment.
Functionality
combit CRM is a flexible-tier CRM whose defining feature is that administrators (not developers) create, modify and delete database tables and fields directly through the interface, live, without vendor involvement (edition-gated at 25/150/unlimited tables). On top of that user-built data model sits a TypeScript/C#/VBScript scripting layer for custom automation, an Eingabemaskendesigner for giving each team its own screen layout, and List & Label-derived one-click reporting covering fundraising campaigns, donation evaluation, and the statutory membership/statistical filings German associations must submit.
Localised features
One-click donation receipts, Spendenbescheinigungen, with annual summaries for repeat donors, and reporting built for the German statutory filings Bestandserhebung and Meldestatistik.
Implementation model
Organisations can set it up themselves, with support from combit project managers and a 45-day trial, or work with one of combit’s CRM Solution Partners.
Hosting
You can choose how it’s hosted: run it on your own servers (on-premises/self-hosted), or use combit’s own Private-Cloud option, hosted in a German data centre.
