AssoMeglio is published by Sepanet, a small Italian shareware-style publisher whose wider catalogue spans unrelated business utilities. AssoMeglio (v6.0) is one line within that catalogue rather than a dedicated nonprofit-software business.
Functionality
AssoMeglio is a one-time-purchase, locally installed alternative to the cloud-subscription products that dominate this market. No recurring fee, and all data stays on the organisation’s own device rather than a vendor’s server. It manages an unlimited member registry with fully user-editable categories, payment and fee tracking with receipt printing and renewal-deadline alerts, meeting minutes, and activity tracking. The top Professional tier adds a general cash ledger and one-click automatic annual financial-statement generation. The trade-off for this data control is that the organisation is entirely responsible for its own backups, multi-device access, and updates.
Localised features
Prepares the annual financial statement, the rendiconto, automatically, with editions for religious associations, parishes, ONLUS, a former Italian nonprofit tax status, and foundations.
Implementation model
Self-service. You download it, install it locally, and unlock it with a serial code.
Hosting
Self-hosted only: a locally installed Windows desktop application. Your organization is responsible for its own backups.
