hgi systems it OG, based in Lauterach, Austria, is a small software and media company with 25 years of association projects, serving several hundred companies and associations.
Functionality
VereinsAssistant is an association-management system built on the Claris FileMaker low-code platform, running on Windows, Mac and iOS or as a browser-based Cloud edition, with a standard module structure configured for each association. It handles member records with ID cards, address lists and labels, group and achievement tracking for sports clubs, board tasks, meeting minutes, equipment loans, and individual or family fee billing with automated dunning. Accounting includes a booking assistant, trial balance and VAT tools, a knowledge-pool module keeps records across board changes, and a website module shares live data with the main system.
Localised features
Donation-receipt generation was added at version 5.0. A dedicated cash-register module, the Registrierkassenmodul, works with a Fiskaly add-on to support Austria’s cash-register security ordinance, RKSV.
Implementation model
Self-service, with optional training and coaching, a trial version and Excel import templates from the vendor. Bespoke development is available for needs beyond the packaged product.
Hosting
You can choose: vendor-hosted (SaaS) or self-hosted. Native FileMaker client deployment against a shared server, plus a browser-based “6.0 Cloud” edition.
