Donodoo is built by Metadonors S.r.l. Società Benefit, based in Prato, Italy, operating since 2015 and part of Gruppo Eudata since 2022. Its client roster includes Greenpeace, Amnesty International, MSF, and AIRC.
Functionality
Donodoo is a donor database purpose-built for organisations managing large volumes of regular, recurring donors, built on Odoo (the open-source business platform) rather than a fixed vendor schema, so new modules, fields, and processes can be added as an organisation’s needs grow. It combines large-scale donor segmentation with a one-to-one pipeline tool for major-donor and legacy cultivation, SEPA direct-debit and multi-method payment handling, automated import and reconciliation, and real-time KPI dashboards. A direct integration with Metaface, the vendor’s own tablet-based face-to-face acquisition tool, syncs completed enrolment and payment-mandate forms straight into the donor record.
Localised features
Natively generates and bulk-downloads Italian donation tax certificates, ‘certificato/attestato donazioni’, for donors ahead of tax-filing season, and includes a dedicated module for reporting the prior year’s erogazioni liberali, tax-deductible charitable donations, to the Agenzia delle Entrate, Italy’s tax agency.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team. Metadonors positions migration as a demanding process, best entrusted to its own specialist fundraising-technology team. This runs as an ongoing account relationship, not a self-service trial.
