Organisation & background
ANT-Informatik AG, based in Wallisellen, Switzerland, has sold SEXTANT in the Swiss market since 1995 and has a German entity, ANT-Informatik Service GmbH in Bonn, founded in 2016. It has a substantial number of implementations across Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
Functionality
SEXTANT is ANT-Informatik’s all-in-one CRM and fundraising system for nonprofits in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, the on-premises counterpart to its cloud product Kaleido. Its donor data model has over 100 DACH-specific characteristics, with links to households, companies and organisations. Selection and segmentation drive campaigns, with optional AI-based selection, and each donation can be traced through to its final use. Automation covers reconciliation, thank-you processing and emergency-appeal selections, alongside membership dues billing, events and campaigns, compliant donation receipts, customisable reports and a legacy module. It connects to accounting, marketing automation and donation platforms.
Localised features
Creates donation receipts, Spendenquittungen, and exchanges data automatically with the tax office, the Finanzamt. Hosting in Switzerland complies with the Swiss nDSG and the EU GDPR, and a legacy fundraising module, Legat, is available.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by ANT-Informatik, which provides hosting, implementation, consulting, support, training and data management through one account-manager relationship. Projects typically run 4 to 12 months: kickoff and analysis, requirements documentation, migration, then go-live.
Hosting
Vendor-hosted in ANT-Informatik’s own Swiss data centres, ISO 27001 certified, with daily backups mirrored across sites, or installed on-premises.
