Imatia Social

Organisation & background

Imatia Innovation, S.L. is a Galician technology company founded in 2005 as a spin-off from the Universidade de Vigo. Servicios Sociales is the company’s dedicated social-sector product line, with a client base dominated by town councils (ayuntamientos) and provincial governments (diputaciones) rather than nonprofits directly.

Functionality

Imatia Social is a case-management system for municipal social services, built on a single, continuously updated social history for each person or household across all programmes and professionals. It generates a genogram showing family relationships automatically, and adds modules for home help, inclusion, family intervention, financial aid, migration, shelters and gender violence. AI tools support note dictation, summarisation and retrieval, and dashboards and heat maps show service patterns. A citizen self-service portal connects to the municipality’s digital-government office.

Localised features

Integrates with the municipal PadrĂ³n, Spain’s local population register, national social-services systems, SEGISS and SIUSS, and Galicia’s regional HSUE platform, with national digital-identity login for the citizen portal.

Implementation model

Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team. Rollout follows an agile process adapted to the municipal calendar. Rather than a one-off sale, the relationship runs as an ongoing implementation partnership, and sales are B2G and procurement-led.

Hosting

Cloud-hosted by the vendor, a web application accessible from any device. Certified under Spain’s ENS national public-sector security framework.
