Föreningssupport

Organisation & background

Föreningssupport is a Swedish membership-system specialist, offering software to associations and federations since 2000, with its dedicated membership-register product dating to 2008. It’s used by organisations ranging from small local associations to nationwide federations.

Functionality

Föreningssupport is a Swedish membership-management system built for associations and multi-tier federations, covering the member lifecycle from sign-up through billing to renewal, with a parallel fundraising module for donation and campaign forms. It provides native support for national/district/local federation structures with role-based permissions, automated address upkeep and duplicate checks at sign-up, and embeddable membership and donation forms with personnummer-based routing to the right local branch. A self-service member portal handles payments and event sign-up, with bulk invoicing across card, Swish, Autogiro, e-invoice and paper giro, a financial dashboard, and monthly-donor management for recurring gifts.

Localised features

Automated address updates run against SPAR, Sweden’s national address register, with duplicate-record checks on name, email, and personnummer, Sweden’s national ID number, at sign-up. Supports BankID-signed Autogiro mandates, Sweden’s standard direct-debit method, Swish, Sweden’s mobile-payment app, including recurring Swish ‘autogiro’, e-invoice, and paper/OCR giro, with SIE, Sweden’s standard accounting-file format, and Excel accounting export and a direct Fortnox bookkeeping integration.

Implementation model

Self-service: Vendor-mediated onboarding via guides, chat, phone and email rather than a published knowledge base; individual-member onboarding, e.g. Autogiro sign-up, is largely self-service via BankID.

Hosting

Cloud-hosted by the vendor.
