Organisation & background
Breeze ChMS was founded by pastor Jon VerLee in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and acquired in 2021 by Tithely, a Ministry Brands company. In August 2025 it was merged into Tithely Church Management under Tithely’s ‘Simply Serve’ platform, though a Breeze plan was still sold at compile time.
Functionality
Breeze ChMS is a church management system based on people and households. Tags drive segmentation, communication and who can see which data, and groups have their own leaders and edit access. Giving covers one-off, recurring and text-to-give donations with automatic year-end statements. It also includes forms, events with check-in and attendance, volunteer scheduling, email and text messaging, a mobile app and integrations, and alerts flag families who stop attending. Profiles can be extended with custom fields.
Localised features
Integrates with Tithely Giving via fund mapping and with the third-party Online Giving, OnlineGiving.org, platform, with automated donor matching by name or email.
Implementation model
Self-service, with no contract and vendor-run data migration included.

Cloud-hosted by the vendor.
