Blackbaud YourCause was acquired by Blackbaud in 2019 and operates under its own brand (CSRconnect, GrantsConnect, NPOconnect). Its latest published dataset covers a substantial number of companies and a very large number of employees globally. A disclosed subset of Blackbaud’s total customer base.
Functionality
Blackbaud YourCause is a corporate social responsibility platform that companies use to run workplace giving, volunteering, recognition and grant programmes for their staff. Employees give to causes they choose, log volunteer hours and join recognition groups, while the company’s grants team manages disbursements through a separate grants module. For India, a partnership with GiveIndia gives companies and employees access to nonprofits already vetted by GiveIndia, so they don’t need to verify Indian recipients themselves. Reporting runs through Impact Edge, which uses AI to help analyse and present programme impact, including predictive outcome measurement through a partner integration.
Localised features
A GiveIndia partnership gives employees access to a substantial network of verified Indian nonprofits, a figure the vendor has stated consistently since the partnership launched in 2023. A CAF America partnership from 2024 supplies cross-border compliance plumbing for India donations. Comparable hyperlocal partnerships exist for Canada and the UK.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team: Customer Success-led onboarding; India-inclusive programmes additionally bundle the GiveIndia/CAF America regulatory plumbing described above.
