Organisation & background
Creativ Software AG, based in Widnau/Berneck, St. Gallen, was founded in 1989 as a publishing-house spin-off and also serves publishers and, through an affiliate, hospitals. The Heilsarmee, Switzerland’s Salvation Army, moved to OM from DONMAN around 2019-2020.
Functionality
OM (Organisations-Management) is a CRM and organisation-management suite aimed specifically at federated, multi-tier membership bodies (trade unions, professional associations, political parties) where most competing systems assume a single flat organisation. Its OMmember module models multi-level federation hierarchies, per-section billing, dunning and contribution-splitting between national and local levels, while OMfundraising adds campaign and donation tooling. A newer, more individual-centric CRM layer supports personalised multi-channel marketing, and separate extensions serve Creativ Software’s original publishing-subscription customers and, via an affiliate, hospitals managing patient and referring-physician relationships.
Localised features
Bespoke integrations, such as a Sendinblue/Brevo connector built for the Liechtenstein Red Cross, are built per customer rather than shipped as standard national integrations.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team: Structured, people-first implementation methodology; ongoing OM-User Group community.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor (sold as Software as a Service).
