Fluent Technology Ltd, based in Belfast, is an independently owned software company founded in 2001. Flexi-Grant was created in 2012, purpose-built for grant-making customers, and processes a large volume of grant funding annually.
Functionality
Flexi-Grant is a grant-management platform for funders, organised into five areas: an admin area, a Manage Grants dashboard, a built-in contact database, an application portal and a reviewer portal. Administrators can build unlimited schemes with conditional-logic forms without developers, and bulk eligibility rules screen applications automatically. A Committee Workspace brings panel review together, and budgets, milestones, disbursements and payments are tracked against each award. Reporting and the Flexigrant Insights tool support programme analysis, and assistive AI features help with eligibility checks and translation.
Localised features
Available through the UK Government’s G-Cloud Digital Marketplace, with published security and accessibility information. Security clearance is available up to SC, the UK’s Security Check level, with staff screened to BS7858:2019, reflecting customers that include UK local councils.

Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team: PRINCE-accredited project managers; a typical ~13-week timeline.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor, hosted on Azure with UK data and hybrid-cloud failover.
