Organisation & background
EveryAction grew out of Democratic-campaign-tech provider NGP VAN, launched as a standalone nonprofit product in 2014. It was acquired by Apax Partners in 2021 and folded into Bonterra (formed 2022).
Functionality
EveryAction is a donor/constituent CRM combining fundraising with advocacy and direct-response tooling. Contributions and Gift Management include GL fund coding and batch-level reconciliation, Online Engagement covers advocacy, mobile messaging and online actions, and Voter Registration and a companion mobile canvassing app, MiniVAN, reflect its political/advocacy-sector heritage. Workflow Automation and a Que-branded AI Fundraising Coach are also included.
Localised features
Disclosure reporting supports advocacy and politically active nonprofits with US campaign-finance disclosure obligations, and contributions can be accepted in currencies other than US dollars.
Implementation model
Self-service, with optional support packages for hands-on onboarding and training, and a Bonterra-wide partnerships programme for service providers who implement it.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor: Part of Bonterra’s AWS-partnered cloud infrastructure per the company’s own case-study material.
