Organisation & background
BenevolOps is published by the French vendor AssOps Solutions. It’s a small-scale tool marketed specifically to small, largely volunteer-run French associations and clubs.
Functionality
BenevolOps is a volunteer shift/slot-scheduling platform for volunteer-run associations, covering recurring and one-off event coordination, and explicitly positioned by the vendor as complementary to, not a replacement for, a membership/accounting platform (its own comparison pages name AssoConnect, Yapla and Pep’s Up for those functions). The Créneau (slot) model enforces skills-based assignment, with automatically ranked replacement suggestions, multi-site management, public schedules with Google Calendar sync, gamification (XP points, leaderboard), targeted SMS/email reminders, and a distinctive ‘module mairie’ for local-authority multi-association coordination. A basic membership, dues and fiscal-receipt capability sits at the top tier.
Localised features
Attendance tracking generates volunteer-hours attestations aligned to France’s Compte d’Engagement Citoyen scheme, which converts volunteer hours into training-rights credits. The membership add-on references France’s Loi 1901 association-register requirements and fiscal receipts in the CERFA format, France’s standard government form-numbering system.
Implementation model
Self-service, with a 30-day trial and an optional short introductory call; there is no mandatory onboarding stage or partner network.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor, with data hosted in France.
