SylogistMission CRM

Organisation & background

Sylogist Ltd., headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, was founded in 1993 and acquired the Newmarket, Ontario-based MISSION CRM in 2021. MISSION CRM was an original co-design partner for Microsoft’s Nonprofit Common Data Model and its retired Fundraising and Engagement application. It is aimed at complex fundraising operations, including healthcare foundations, higher-education advancement, faith-based organisations and United Ways.

Functionality

SylogistMission CRM is a fundraising CRM built on Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 platform, aimed at organisations with complex development operations. Healthcare foundations, university fundraising offices, faith-based charities and United Ways. It began as an independently built product, MISSION CRM, and was one of the original partners who helped Microsoft design its nonprofit data model, before being acquired by Sylogist in 2021. Its main distinguishing feature is a direct integration path to two other Sylogist products: Serenic Navigator for fund accounting and Grants Manager Plus for funder-side grant administration, letting one vendor cover fundraising, accounting and grantmaking on a single technical foundation.

Localised features

Includes native receipting for the Canada Revenue Agency: donations through the platform’s online giving pages are acknowledged and receipted automatically as they arrive.

Implementation model

Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team, with named solution partners; Sylogist is the product owner. Sylogist’s current marketing states implementations are carried out by the SylogistMission team and experienced solution partners.

Hosting

Runs inside your organization’s own third-party platform tenancy (Dynamics 365/Dataverse).
