Sunergo is a product of NCOL Ministries, a Vancouver-based nonprofit society that has served Canadian church and parachurch technology needs for over two decades. It focuses on Canadian data residency and CRA-compliant receipting.
Functionality
Sunergo is a cloud-based church-management suite built specifically for Canadian churches, combining a back-office system (contacts and families, giving and receipting, event registration and attendance, and a child-protection module for check-in and screening records) with a public-facing church website builder. A companion member portal, Sunergo Connect, lets congregants and volunteers update their own details, view the calendar, and manage their own volunteer scheduling.
Localised features
Keeps data in Canada, which the vendor presents as part of CRA compliance, issues donation receipts compliant with the Canada Revenue Agency with permanent retention, and takes online donations in Canadian dollars.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor. A demo/quote-led, consultative sales model with no self-service trial signup. Independent reviewers describe hands-on migration support.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor: NCOL Ministries states directly that its entire operations, including hosting, are located in Canada, not only the CRA-compliance argument for why this matters.
