Organisation & background
Bonigi AB was founded in 2008 in Huskvarna, near Jönköping, Sweden, by a social-studies graduate and a systems architect. It says NGO|PRO has been developed with fundraising and membership organisations for over ten years.
Functionality
NGO-PRO is a combined fundraising and membership CRM, developed with Swedish nonprofits over more than a decade, built around one unified contact record per donor or member. It offers configurable donation web forms and an event-triggered marketing-automation engine spanning simple thank-you flows to multi-step donor and member journeys. Flexible campaign and purpose structuring supports per-purpose cost allocation and multiple bank accounts, giro-payment reconciliation runs as a Bonigi service bureau, and a multi-tier national/district/local-chapter structure allows delegated local-administrator permissions. A 360-degree donor/member profile with custom fields and embedded Microsoft Power BI reporting round it out.
Localised features
Swedish personnummer, national ID number, lookup with automatic address retrieval and chapter/area routing. Payment options include card, Swish, Apple Pay, Autogiro, and paper avi, with SIE accounting-file export. Listed as a recognised CRM vendor by Giva Sverige, Sweden’s fundraising standards body.
Implementation model
Self-service: Sales and onboarding handled directly by Bonigi rather than through a partner network; a named six-step migration methodology exists, though its individual steps aren’t detailed publicly.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor (cloud-hosted).
