Organisation & background
NewOrg Management System launched in 2006, headquartered in Washington, D.C., with a secondary Toronto data-hosting presence to serve Canadian partners under PIPEDA. It’s a small, unfunded, employee-owned company, and B Corporation certified.
Functionality
NewOrg Management System is a customised system for human-services organisations working in areas such as housing, emergency assistance, domestic-violence services, home visits, transportation, immigration, crisis follow-up and legal advocacy. A shared data and reporting engine supports modules for case management and client services, donor development, volunteer management and HR scheduling, set up around each customer’s programmes. Documents are held in a controlled company directory and linked to clients, events or services, and e-signatures work generally and within an electronic visit-verification workflow. Reporting, email, SMS and mail merge, integrations and a public volunteer portal are included.
Localised features
States compliance with HIPAA, PIPEDA, FERPA, FOIP and GDPR across marketing material.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team. This covers 360-degree scoping, field, screen, form, and report customisation, and bespoke integration work, delivered as an upfront and ongoing professional-services engagement. It’s not a configure-it-yourself product.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor, with a second hosting location in Toronto for Canadian data under PIPEDA. Security features include country-level IP blocking or allow-listing and full auditing of record changes.
