Neon CRM is offered by Neon One, LLC, of Chicago, Illinois, whose product family also includes Neon CCM for case management, Neon Fundraise, Neon Membership, Neon Pay, Neon Websites and Arts People, each sold as a separate product.
Functionality
Neon CRM is a cloud CRM for nonprofits and membership associations, covering donor and fundraising management, membership, event registration, volunteers and reporting. Accounts are either Individual or Company, with households and company contacts linking people together. Online forms feed data straight into records, events and an online store handle registrations and sales, and reports and dashboards sit alongside import and deduplication tools. Workflows automate actions based on events, dates and conditions. Beyond custom fields, administrators can define custom objects, comparable to new database tables, through the interface or the API.
Localised features
A CRA Receipts module for Canadian organisations records an Advantage Amount on each gift to apply Canada Revenue Agency split-receipting rules when a donor receives something in return. Eligible transactions go to an Awaiting Review queue, and annual receipts can be issued from the same module.
Implementation model
Self-service: Paid “Pro Services” data-migration/import support available as an upsell rather than a mandatory step.
