Fairgate AG, based in Effretikon/Dübendorf in canton Zürich, was founded in 2004 and has a German subsidiary. It has over two decades in the Swiss club and federation-software market.
Functionality
Fairgate is a membership-management platform for clubs and federations, available as a single-club solution or as a federation solution that links a federation’s instance to those of its member clubs. Federations see live membership data from their clubs, group members across clubs, push events to club calendars, invoice centrally and report across clubs. A contact database with definable fields and family relationships underlies per-module permissions. It also covers courses and events, member communication, finance with cost centres, split bookings and Swiss VAT, an integrated website CMS, and a REST API.
Localised features
Handles Swiss VAT, Saldo and Pauschal simplified schemes, with an Abacus/Sage reconciliation interface and a named CREALOGIX integration for Swiss e-banking/ISO 20022 reconciliation. Includes a dedicated Swiss DSG/GDPR data-protection guide for clubs, with the interface available in German, French, English, and Italian.
Implementation model
Self-service, with a one-month full-feature trial; the federation solution needs more structured setup, as in Swiss-Ski’s federation rollout.

Cloud-hosted by the vendor: Cloud-based, accessible from any device via browser.
