EasyGovernance is an Irish platform for Irish charities, companies and social enterprises. Its donor and CHY module is the established product, while the board-governance and compliance-code modules were at a register-your-interest stage in 2026.
Functionality
A donor CRM runs alongside newer board-governance and compliance modules, all sharing one underlying record ‘vault’. The donor side covers profiles, donation tracking and reporting, campaign management, embeddable donation widgets, automated thank-you messaging, and tax receipt generation, with board members able to view donation summaries through a shared portal. The governance side records and approves minutes, tracks actions and decisions, and gives board members a portal to view the calendar, RSVP, and access board packs. The compliance side maintains a version-controlled document library, a risk register, a compliance calendar of deadlines, and policy acknowledgments tracked per board member, with a regulator-ready report generated from the organisation’s own stored evidence rather than a generic checklist.
Localised features
The CHY module tracks Ireland’s Charitable Donation Scheme: it flags donors whose giving in a tax year passes EUR 250, captures signed CHY3 or CHY4 certificates, encrypts PPS numbers and assembles the claim for Revenue, Ireland’s tax authority. Further modules map organisations against the Charities Regulator’s Governance Code, the Companies Act, GDPR and Children First child-protection legislation.

Self-service sign-up, with onboarding, training materials and ongoing support included.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted, with data stored in Irish data centres, protected by 256-bit SSL encryption, and fully GDPR-compliant.
