Organisation & background
Archie Europe B.V., based in Oosthuizen, the Netherlands, traces its history to 1984. It’s a general-purpose Dutch/Belgian CRM sold across SME, business-services, municipal and nonprofit lines, with a substantial customer base.
Functionality
Archie CRM is a general stakeholder-relationship CRM configured for nonprofit use by municipalities, government bodies, social organisations and cultural organisations. A shared contact database links organisations, contacts and the interests they represent. It adds document management, campaign management with selections, mailings and results, and an optional project-management module for activities, schedules and hours. Case handling for files, activities and complaints, workflow automation and management reporting are included. The vendor positions it for relationships with organisations and their contacts rather than large individual donor bases.
Localised features
Dutch hosting via partner Onited, with stated AVG, the Dutch name for GDPR, compliance. Default language support covers Dutch, English, French, and German. A discounted nonprofit rate is available on inquiry, and one corroborated integration, IdentityCheck ID-verification, exists, though it’s centred on business-services rather than nonprofit use.
Implementation model
Delivered by partners or by Archie’s own Customer Success Team; partner involvement appears optional. Named partners include FVO Marketing, A-Switch, CRM Consultants and Top-Result.
Hosting
You can choose: vendor-hosted (SaaS) or self-hosted. Cloud hosting in the Netherlands via Onited, with on-premise as an alternative (a less common option among Dutch systems).
