Portal do Sócio is run by Floating Eagle, Unipessoal Lda, a small, single-owner Portuguese software company founded in 2015 in Évora.
Functionality
Portal do Sócio is a cloud tool for small Portuguese associations to manage member records and annual dues; despite its name, it is used by association administrators rather than members. One person can manage several associations from one account, and members are numbered automatically. Seniority-based renumbering skips archived members but restores their standing when they return, and dues are generated on demand with proration by admission month. Receipts can be downloaded individually or in bulk, several users can work at once with an audit trail, and permissions control what each user can do.

Uses Portuguese association terms and processes, such as dues receipts and the jóia, an admission fee.
Implementation model
Self-service: Bespoke development and automatic backups available on request via email, rather than as advertised self-service upgrades.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor, with automatic backups available on request.
