Organisation & background
Giving Technologies, Inc., based in Tel Aviv and New York and founded in 2009, sells one engine under four brands: IsraelGives, GivingTech, FundMe and DAFTech. It has a large customer base across dozens of countries. A 2026 report raised questions about the exact relationship between the IsraelGives and GivingTech brands, which isn’t fully resolved.
Functionality
IsraelGives, also marketed as GivingTech, is an all-in-one fundraising platform combining a donor database, email marketing, online giving and a simple pipeline for major donors and grants. A prospect becomes a donor automatically on giving, and abandoned online donations trigger chatbot and email follow-up that the vendor says recovers some failed gifts. Donors can split pledges into monthly instalments or give on an ongoing recurring basis, gifts can be taken in several currencies, and peer-to-peer pages let supporters fundraise under the organisation’s banner. Donor groups, tasks and AI tools are included, and a one-way sync updates a connected Salesforce org.
Localised features
Updates cards automatically for Israeli standing orders, הוראת קבע, and supports Bit peer-to-peer payments. International tax receipts are issued through partner foundations, such as America Gives, for donors in the US, UK, Canada, France and Australia. Section 46 digital-donation reporting is fully integrated, with every receipt transmitted to the Israel Tax Authority.
Implementation model
Self-service sign-up, with core setup taking under ten minutes.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor, with PCI-compliant payment processing built in.
