Organisation & background
innosolv AG, based in St. Gallen, Switzerland and founded in 1996, is a Swiss vendor with a small team that also sells sibling municipal and utility products. innosolvchurch descends from the joint ‘nest’ brand, dissolved in 2020.
Functionality
innosolvchurch is a modular Kirchgemeinde (parish) administration platform sharing a common Subjekte/Objekte/Aktivitäten/Kampagnen data model with innosolv’s sibling municipal and utility products, rather than a purpose-built-from-scratch church system. A central address register lets one person or organisation hold several simultaneous roles (member, property owner, debtor, employee), residential data links automatically to the federal building/dwelling register, and membership mutations flow in automatically from cantonal or municipal population data. Dedicated modules cover voter registers, recurring and one-off fee billing, and a consolidated contract overview, all tied together by a shared task/audit layer.
Localised features
Automatic ingestion of cantonal population-register and municipal mutation data. Integrates with Infostar, Switzerland’s federal civil-status register, and ZEMIS, the federal foreigner-registration system, built to eCH Swiss eGovernment standards.
Implementation model
Delivered by a third-party partner: Sold through named regional partners OBT AG and Talus Informatik AG; paid structured training courses rather than self-service documentation.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor, choice of vendor cloud or customer tenancy: Authorised Swiss data centre or on-premises at the Kirchgemeinde.
