Data Prisma “Kongressi”

Organisation & background

Data Prisma Oy is a wholly Finnish, privately owned software house operating since 1987. Kongressi absorbed a separate, earlier membership-register product (‘Jäsen’) over time as customer needs converged.

Functionality

Data Prisma “Kongressi” is a Finnish events and congress-management system that also serves as a member register, for federations that run conferences and event organisers that keep membership lists. It covers member data, communications, invoicing and an optional self-service portal, and handles the full event lifecycle, including accommodation booking, collecting abstracts and distributing them to reviewers, QR or barcode check-in, surveys and personalised certificates. Billing is based on products and orders, with per-product pricing, early-bird discounts and automatic payment matching, and it integrates with other systems and login services.

Localised features

Supports Finnish public-sector, higher-education and healthcare identity and single-sign-on standards: AD, Azure AD, LDAP, Haka, the Finnish research and education federation, Kieku, the Finnish government financial-administration system, and Fimnet, a Finnish healthcare network.

Implementation model

Configured per customer rather than self-service, but with fast next-business-day activation once a service agreement is signed. Delivered directly by Data Prisma under Finland’s IT2022 contract framework.

Hosting

Cloud-hosted by the vendor, delivered as an online service under Finland’s standard IT2022/GDPR contract terms.
