CRM-service NPO

Organisation & background

CRM-service Oy, based in Finland, offers a nonprofit configuration of its general commercial CRM platform and expanded into Sweden from 2023. Customers include Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliitto, a major Finnish child-welfare organisation.

Functionality

CRM-service NPO is a nonprofit configuration of a general commercial CRM that combines classic membership-register functions with call-centre-style member support, aimed at organisations whose members contact them for advice as often as they pay dues. Members, departments and member products are held in cross-referenced, customer-configurable registers (the vendor’s own example: a register of members’ summer cottages made available for organisational use). A member self-service portal covers profile/invoice management, event registration, payments and product ordering, and a Contact Center capability serves organisations running member advisory or helpline services.

Localised features

Data is stored in the vendor’s own secure data centres, based in two separate Finnish locations, transferred over encrypted connections and backed up daily, with full GDPR compliance stated directly on the vendor’s site, alongside a browser-based membership register usable across the Finnish, Swedish, and Baltic markets it serves.

Implementation model

Delivered directly by the vendor, which develops and supports the NPO line in-house with a focus on fast implementation. Clara Finland, a nonprofit and volunteer-sector platform acquired in 2026, is delivered the same way.

Hosting

Cloud-hosted by the vendor, hosted in Finland-based data centres.
