Object flexibility: Low code

Extending the data model requires some technical skill, but stops short of a full development cycle. Typical routes include writing SQL to define a new table, or working in a platform’s low-code configuration layer, sometimes through a paid extension. Nothing is compiled or deployed as installable software, but the work is usually beyond a non-technical administrator, more suited to an IT-literate staff member, a consultant, or the vendor.
