Functionality
VSys One is a configurable volunteer-management platform built around a unified individual volunteer profile holding skills, interests, communication history and screening-test results. Risk-management tooling gates background and reference checks before a candidate is scheduled for interview, and a custom-geolocation volunteer-recruitment selector lets administrators target sourcing by geographic criteria. A custom report generator sits alongside a large library of pre-built reports.
Localised features
Complies with HIPAA, the US health-data privacy law. Named integrations include Workday and Kronos, HR/workforce-management systems, and Sterling Volunteers, a US volunteer background-screening provider.
Implementation model
Guided by the vendor: at Boston Medical Center, implementation began in 2020 and continued as a collaboration with VSys staff to customise the system. VSys also works with technology partners such as Universal Background Screening.
Hosting
You can choose: vendor-hosted (SaaS) or self-hosted. VSys hosts it in its own US/Canada facilities, or the customer can run it in-house on their own Windows Server/SQL Server infrastructure. HIPAA-compliant hosting, with mandatory two-factor authentication for administrative users.
