Organisation & background
CRM-NGO originated inside Fundacja SkarbowoĊci, a Polish foundation active since 2000, which built its own tool after years of adapting commercial CRMs. It is operated commercially by a separate company, NGO SYSTEMS Sp. z o.o.
Functionality
CRM-NGO is a donor, beneficiary and campaign-management system for Polish fundraising foundations, built around named-beneficiary sub-accounts rather than a generic contact model. Each beneficiary (Podopieczny) gets a dedicated online collection page and running financial sub-account, automatically split into two ‘wallets’ for ordinary funds versus 1.5%-designation funds. Campaigns can run independently or jointly with named partner organisations, each with its own page and full funds documentation. Donors self-manage recurring gifts (amount, date, cancellation) from a link with no organisation contact needed, and an automated, document-driven workflow handles beneficiary reimbursement requests.
Localised features
Automatically splits income between two ‘wallets,’ ordinary funds and Poland’s 1.5% tax-designation funds, specifically valued by supervisory bodies. PayU payment processing runs at a negotiated commission rate, and RODO, the Polish name for GDPR, compliance is stated.
Implementation model
Delivered directly by the vendor’s own team: A four-step process: initial questionnaire, free live demo, environment setup with optional data migration, and team training.
Hosting
Cloud-hosted by the vendor as a web application accessed through a login portal.
